Nathan E. Rudd Jr., a resident of Westampton for almost 50 years, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012. He was 85 Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Rudd was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Army, retiring at the rank of First Sergeant. During his tenure he served in the Korean Conflict and was awarded the Bronze Star.Following his retirement from the military, Mr. Rudd excelled as an insurance agent for 25 years Nathan was a loyal parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Mount Holly and a member of their choir for over 30 years.He also was an avid hunter and fisherman.Nathan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be missed by all.He was preceded in death by his son, Michael, in 2001.Nathan is survived by Toni, his loving and devoted wife of over 63 years; three daughters, Theresa Rudd, Barbara Wright and Stephanie Rudd; his beloved grandchildren, Eric Wright, Andrea Ramsey and Keira Rudd; as well as being the favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31 at the Sacred Heart Church, 260 High St., Mount Holly. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, July 30 at the Lee Funeral Home, 317 High St., Mount Holly. Interment will follow the Mass in the Brig. General William C.
