American Legion Post 509 will a conduct a Memorial Wreath Laying Ceremony at the newly erected Westampton POW-MIA Memorial at the Post home, 781 Rancocas Road, Westampton on May 28, 2007 at 10:00 am. The Commander is requesting all members to be present by 9:30 am. The  Mayor and Township Committee were invited.

 

Horace (Tom) Durham passed August 15, 2007. Durham was a member and supporter of Post 509 for 31 years. Viewing will be held at Perinchief Funeral Home, 438 High Street, Mount Holly from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm August 17, 2007. Legion Services will be held at 8:00 pm. All Legion members participating in the services are requested to be present NLT 7:45 pm. Dress is blue & gray with uniform cap.
The Funeral will be held at 11:00 am August 18, 2007 at First Baptist Church, 1341 Woodlane Road Eastampton, NJ.
Durham was the owner and operator of Tom's Barber Shop, 14 Mill Street, Mount Holly
